The title of this collection is pulled from the book of Galatians 5:22-23:
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
Could it be possible? "You reap what you sow" --> My Grandpa used to have a farm back in Kananga, where I am born and when came harvest time, he'd share the fruit of his labor with the neighbors: oil, grains, meat, fish, vegetables, fruits and dry goods. Through his gesture and lifestyle, He showed me what it means to reap a harvest of nourishing fruit in our lives and I am thankful to him for that.
As we celebrate the new season coming upon us, let's remember to be thankful for everyone and everything in our lives, despite the current times. My hope is to be able to practice these fruit of the Spirit towards anyone around me, not just with those that I know and love but also towards strangers.
So go out there, in your household, neighborhood and place of work, be kind, loving, patient, modest, gentle, forgiving, joyful, peaceful and faithful.
