I have some incredibly exciting news to share with all of you!
I am so thrilled and deeply grateful to announce that I have been selected as a participant in the 2026 Cohort of the Immigrant Entrepreneur Canada (IEC) Retail Incubator Program.
Our intensive journey kicked off on March 31, and as we wrap up the educational portion at the end of May, I am reflecting on just how transformative this experience has been. This program isn't just about theory—it's a hands-on, immersive launchpad. I’ve already learned so much about refining my business, scaling sustainably, and adding true value to the products you know and love.
As a woman immigrant entrepreneur, breaking into the retail space comes with unique hurdles. From navigating high commercial rents to managing long-term contracts, the barriers can feel overwhelming.
Having the backing of the IEC, alongside incredible partners like RBC and Meridian, has been an absolute game-changer. The tailored mentorship, accountability, and community support have given me the confidence and tools to take my business to the next level. It is so empowering to see programs like this actively championing diverse, women-led ventures, and I am incredibly proud to represent that this year.
The grand finale of this program is an unforgettable, public-facing retail experience.
May 20th, 2026: We will be celebrating the official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to kick-start the exciting retail portion of the program at the new Vendor Village in Ottawa's historic ByWard Market from 10AM - 11AM.

For five days only, I will be taking over one of the prime, 8'x10' shipping container storefronts right in the heart of the market. I will be there in person, engaging with customers, sharing my story, and selling my products directly to the vibrant Ottawa community and summer tourists.
